Sunday Scribblings - Kissing

Sunday Scribblings #41

My first kiss. I was in eighth grade, and it was at a party. We were playing spin the bottle, and I had to kiss Dickie Johnson. If I remember correctly, it wasn't much of a kiss, but what did I know? I had nothing to compare it to. It was one of those just-barely-a-peck, junior-high, embarrassed kisses, and it was over almost before it began.

Fortunately, kisses have gotten a lot more enjoyable since then.

Yes, I do remember those "spin the bottle" games, and hope my Boy Scout doesn't want to anytime soon.

My first kiss was a guy named Buddy, 5th Grade. I think I kissed him, though.

Hey, thanks for visit to the blog! Nice meeting you!

P.S. After reading your profile, I had to tell you that my 3 year old's favorite sentence is, "I can't want to do that."

Thanks for visiting me! As you read, I can't remember my first kiss, but really, the only kisses I remember are those with my hubby... I am glad of that! They are very enjoyable!

A familiar story - thank goodness kissing usually improves with age and experience!

At my eight grade graduation party/dance I kissed my friends older brother. We were walking back inot the party room, and he suddenly whirled me around for a movie star kiss. It was the mid-seventies and I was wearing a Quiana dress and platforms - how cool was I? LOL.
Thanks for the memories.

My Post Is At: http://blogjem.com

Take care
Frances

That's a classic. Kissing is such an event in our lives. Strange such a small detail will remain burned in our memories forever even when we can easily forget things we may consider more important.
