Seems smart to me!

I wanted to write this down before I forgot. Yesterday we were watching "It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" (yeah, I know, it's Christmas), and if you aren't familiar with the story, Peppermint Patty and Marcy are trying to dye Easter eggs. Marcy keeps screwing up the eggs (doing everything but boiling them in the shell), and they have to go back for more. I made the comment to J that you'd think Peppermint Patty would figure out that she should buy a lot of eggs if she knows Marcy is going to mess them up, and he said, "Or Peppermint Patty could cook the eggs, and Marcy could do the colors." I was stunned at the logic. Clearly he has some problem-solving capability going on.
